This service connects you with customers and enables you to generate leads for your Business. With Google My Business, customers can contact you by providing their location, email address, and a few other information e.g.: “Empowr” which you may gather from their browsing activity on Google.

This particular Google application connects you with customers who use Google to search for businesses like yours or are searching for a local business online. It displays the Google map on your personal page, which is customized according to the information provided by you. You can display any number of Google maps such as Google Maps for offline, Google Maps for online, Google Maps for Firefox, etc. which can help you in establishing an online presence to get your Company’s name, products, and services known quickly.

Your Google My Business account can include different types of activities such as posting comments on blogs, forums, answering questions, scheduling appointments, writing articles, and so on. When you sign up for a Google My Business account, you are given the option to post updates to your profile, create a business website, and set up a blog. You can also connect your Google My Business accounts to your Gmail, Yahoo, or MSN email accounts for easier access and management.

The Google Webmaster tools offer various advanced features to help you manage your multiple locations as well as the web presence.

Apart from managing a few web properties, it is also important to optimize your Google My Business listing. To optimize your Google My Business listing, it is important to make sure that you provide only the relevant information and do not put in too much information about your business. It is equally important to submit your listing to the appropriate category.
